A special issue about artistic movement CoBrA has been published today in ArtEconomy24 Il Sole 24 ORE. My contribution, entitled “Ribelli certificati dai musei”, deals with the musealization of the movement from the ’50s onward (Pdf on request). Today the reference point for the movement is CoBrA Museum in Almstelveen (near Amsterdam). The museum is organizing an exhibition in October 2011 with sculptures by Karel Appel that the artist produced in Tuscany in the ’90s.
